Class Flow

01

Warm-up

We will begin with warm-up exercises and flexibility exercises. Warm-up is a preparation for getting used to the body movements required for Jiu-Jitsu while preventing injuries.

02

Technique Drills

The instructor teaches a specific technique and the students work in pairs to practice the technique repeatedly. Technique drills are carefully practiced in pairs so that the body learns the movements through repetition.

03

Positional Sparring

This is sparring-style training in specific situations and positions. By focusing on a specific situation, you can learn how to move and react in a match-like situation.

04

Sparring or Rolling

In sparring, you will test your jiu-jitsu skills in a real-life combat format by freely exchanging techniques with your opponent. The main purpose is not to use full power, but to improve technical refinement and timing.

05

Cool Down

At the end of the lesson, relax and cool down your body with light stretching and deep breathing. Jiu-Jitsu is physically demanding, so the cool down is an important process to help the body recover from fatigue.

Kids Class

Ages:6 to 15

Day:Tuesday・Thursday

Time:19:30~20:30

As with adult lessons, we aim to improve technique and physical fitness, but we also try to engage the child’s interest and make learning fun. In addition to technical training, we also emphasize educational elements such as courtesy, cooperation, and self-control.

Class Flow

01

Warm-up

Exercises that allow the body to move while having fun, such as simple exercises, stretching, and rolling and jumping movements (forward roll, backward roll, side roll). This warm-up not only improves physical fitness, but also develops a sense of balance and flexibility.

02

Technique Drills

The goal is to first learn the movements, not difficult techniques, but basic Jiu-Jitsu movements taught in an easy-to-understand manner. It is important to practice the techniques in a playful manner, and to let your body memorize them over and over again.

03

Positional Sparring

Starting with simple positions that are easy for children to understand, children practice how to handle specific situations. In this way, children learn situational judgment and the importance of position.

04

Sparring

Sparring for children takes place in an environment where safety is paramount and techniques are practiced while having fun. Special emphasis is placed on using technique rather than force. Children may spar lightly with each other or with a coach.
